 Circuit nº1 (3.6 km)

(Les Casernes square - Masia d'en Cabanyes - Les Casernes square)

The walk starts at the point where the Pastera stream becomes visible. It follows the main path along the stream, crosses the new bypass, and later goes under the road bridge. At km 1.800 of the main path (B) a smaller path branching off to the right leads downhill to an old farmhouse, the Masia d'en Cabanyes. Just past this farmhouse (km 2.400) turn right through the olive trees of the car park to take a path that follows another stream, the stream of La Perellada. It leads under the road again and finally reaches the Pastera industrial zone and then the town.

 Circuit nº2 (7.3 km)

(Point B - path of the Mas de l'Artís - Les Mesquites - Creixell - Cap de Creu square)

At point B in circuit nº1, instead of turning right, go straight on keeping to the main path. Go under the water pipe from the reservoir and turn right. At km 2.300 there is a signpost and a path off to the left. Keep straight on. Go uphill to the Pla del Mas d'en Perris (the farmhouse has disappeared but there are still some tall pine trees on the left). A bridge goes under the A-16 motorway here. Go under it. Keep going uphill along the main path until you see another farmhouse: Mas de l'Artís. On the last curve before the farmhouse (C) (km 5.200), turn left and follow a path protected by a fence. Follow the path through an area of trees and vines. At km 5.700 there is a small intersection; stay on the larger path and go straight on. There is another intersection at km 6. Take a 90º turn left (D) and take the path to Les Mesquites (km 6.300: abandoned farmhouses one on each side of the path). After walking along a flat stretch for 200 m continue along the main path, leaving behind two smaller paths, one on each side. Soon afterwards the path goes steeply downhill and meets the path to the Mas Roig (km 7.300). Turn left and follow it. After 400 m it comes out onto a fairly wide path that runs below the farmhouse Mas Torrat (F). Continue from point F along circuit nº5.

 Circuit nº3 (10.1 km)

(Point C - Mas de l'Artís - Fondo de les Oliveres - Pla de les Palmeres plain - Serra del Gat path - Les Mesquites)

At point C, instead of turning off, continue along the path that goes to Mas de l'Artís. The path starts to go downhill at the beginning of the first bend to the right (km 5.800) and leads down to the Fondo de les Oliveres. Go up a long but gentle slope to a crossroads (E) (km 8.200). Turn left towards the Pla de les Palmeres plain. After 350 metres go past a small path that branches off to the right towards La Talaia. Go on to the Serra del Gat mountain range where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town. Then start the downward journey. Take care! The main path slopes down steeply to Les Mesquites (D). Continue from point D along circuit nº2.

 Circuit nº4

 Circuit nº4 (14.3 km)

(Point E - Casa Alta - Can Balaguer - Fondo de la cova Pineda i de la Carçosa - Pla de les Palmeres intersection)

Coming out of the Fondo de les Oliveres (E), turn right up a steep, sharp slope. You will come to an intersection (km 9.400), but keep straight on along the main path, leaving behind the turning to the right that goes on to the Pic de l'Àliga peak. 250 m further on, go on past the turning to the Casa Alta, which is on the right. The path goes down, then levels out for a while, before reaching the turning to Can Balaguer on the right. Keep to the main path (km 10.800). At the next mountain pass (km 11.200) turn off to the left and go down a stony, difficult path to the half-hidden intersection at the bottom of the Cova Pineda (km 12.200). It takes us up over difficult ground, marked in blue and orange, to the Fondo de la Carçosa (km 13.400). Continue uphill to the Pla de les Palmeres plain (E)(km 14.300). Continue along circuit nº3 or nº5.

 Circuit nº5 (23.3 km)

(Pla de les Palmeres - Talaia - Portal d'en Roc - path of Mas Torrat - Creixell - Vilanova i la Geltrú)

After leaving circuit nº4 go uphill for 350 metres and take a path that branches off to the right and leads to La Talaia peak. Continue along this path, that goes up and down. Don't take any of the turnings towards the electric pylons on the left. Keep on along the crest of the mountain. The view is magnificent: on one side is the reservoir and on the other the plain of Vilanova i la Geltrú. Continue below La Talaia peak and continue along the main path over stony ground to the Portal d'en Roc. Go under an electric pylon and across an area used for motocross and come to an intersection (km 18.000). Turn left here and follow the path along the metal fence of a large farm. Entering a thicket, first of all go past a path on the left, and then one on the right (km 18.500 and 18.700). At point (F) you will come to a wide path (km 19.200). This is where this circuit joins circuits nº2 and nº3. Go along the main path towards the sea. It leads under the motorway, towards a housing estate and an asphalt area and finally reaches Creixell (km 21.200), where there is a restaurant. At Creixell cross the main road and take the path on the other side. You will see some farms with animals. Go past a path branching off to the right (km 22.400) and then go past the electric transmission station. Cross an asphalt road (km 22.700) keeping to the flat dirt path which comes out at La Pastera stream (km 23.100). Turn right. After 200 metres you will come to Les Casernes square.
