Talaia: a natural and historical vantage point
Situated in the foothills of the Garraf mountains, its countryside is a series of fields, small woods and scrubland, with its typical Mediterranean fan palms. Olèrdola is a natural vantage point crowned by ancient ruins and surrounded by a wall, the work of successive hordes of Iberian, Roman and Mediaeval builders. At the top stands Saint Michael's church. The main part of the building dates from the 12th century. |
